Gregory B. Janke

Gregory Brian Janke, 45, of Norfolk, Virginia, died in Manama, Bahrain.

Mr. Janke, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was a Navy personnel chief with 20 years of service. He was a member of New Life Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach.

he was married to the former Nancy Ruth DeWitt of Farmington, Iowa.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy Ruth Janke of Norfolk, Virginia; a sister, Kathy Schoop of Virginia Beach; and three brothers, Douglas K. Janke of Texas, Ronald Janke of Milwaukee, and Michael Janke of Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 24, 1988 in The Chapel in the Woods, Norfolk Naval Air Station, by the Reverend Wallace E. Sherbon. Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery.
