Lena Guinn Watkins

MOULTON - Lena Guinn Watkins, 73, of Coatsville, Mo., died Feb. 21, 1987 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

She was born April 17, 1913, in Appanoose County to John E. and Phena Belle West Oliver. She was a member of Coatsville Baptist Church. She married Paul J. Guinn, May 10, (???3). He died March 13, 1946. She married Cleo Watkins on (???) 15, 1971.

She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Helen Jean Pedrick of Keosauqua, Lucene Whisler of Des Moines, Eleanor Douglas of Colfax, Billie Jo Jay of Columbus Junction and Frances Ann Probasco of Moulton; two step-children, Bonnie Swain of Tingley Park, Ill., and Jerry Watkins of Orlando, Fla.; 18 grandchildren, 12 atep-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Leta Ryan Laboto of Evans, Colorado and Thelma Bowes of Clinton; and a half-sister, Flossie Hanke of Phoenix, Ariz.

The service was at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1987 at Moulton Christian Church, the Rev. Fritz Zimbelman officiating. Burial was held in Hilltown, south of Moulton.
