STOCKPORT - Eberly "Squire" Dodds Jr., 65, of Stockport died at 6:10 a.m. Feb. 28, 1987, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

He was born Dec. 17, 1921, in Van Buren County to Eberly and Magel Slee Dodds. A lifetime resident of Stockport, he was a Van Buren County employee for 35 years. A member of Eagles Lodge in Fairfield, he married G. Marie Wilson on May 16, 1964, in Kahoka, Mo.

He is survived by his wife; a step-son, Verle Whittington of Huston, Texas; four sisters, Virginia Morrison of St. Petersburg, Fla., Shirley Croskery of Fort Madison, Darlene Lazenby of Keosauqua and Betty Reichert of Fairfield; and a brother, Jerry of Fairfield.

The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rv. Robert Butt officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon.

Family visitaton(sp) will be 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials have been established to Stockport Avenue of Flags or Stockport Avenue of Flags or Stockport Christian Church.
