Frank Clark

Frank M. Clark, 84, of Bonaparte died at 4:04 a.m. April 13, 1987, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born Nov. 8, 1902, in Monmouth, Ill., to George and Rose Morey Clark. He was raised in Illinois and Missouri and lived his entire married life in Van Buren County. He was a retired farmer and had worked for the Stockport Elevator for many years. He married Lena Mae Carter on March 27, 1926, in Keosauqua. She died Sept. 29, 1971.

He is survived by four daughters, Helen Nelson of Birmingham, Maxine Tedrow and Betty Foreman of Fairfield and Shirley Wallace of Washington, Iowa; a son, Harry of Fairfield; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clyde and Edgar of Bonaparte; and three sisters, Daisy Jack and Kathryn Cass of Bonaparte and Lota Pratt of Stockport.

The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Birmingham Free Methodist Church, the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Miller Chapel Cemetery at Stockport.

Memorials have been established to Van Buren Memorial Hospital or to Bonaparte First Responders.
