Henry Ensminger

BLOOMFIELD - Henry C. Ensminger, 89, of Bloomfield died March 1, 1987, at Bloomfield Care Center.

He was born March 5, 1898, in Henry County to Chris and Martha Scarff Ensminger. He is a retired school teacher and superintendent from Hillsboro area schools. He attended Bloomfield Christian Church. He married June Hall in May 1925 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She died April 7, 1987.

He is survived by a son, Harold E. of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Edward of Bloomfield; two sisters, Mabel Vanderlinden of Williamsburg and Sue Whirrett of Bloomfield.

The service will be 2 p.m. today at Priester Funeral Chapel in Bloomfield, the Rev. Don Macy officiating. Burial will be in Troy Cemetery in Troy.

A memorial has been established to the Davis County Cancer Fund.

Visitation is open at the funeral home.

The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
