Margaret Johnstone

Margret L. Johnstone, 64, of Peoria, Ill., died at 5 a.m. April 6, 1987, at Forest Park Hospital in Forest Park, Ill.

She was born Sept. 1, 1922, in Stockport to Frank and Jessie Chezum Ruby. A homemaker and apartment manager, she lived in Peoria the past 16 years. She was a member of Stockport Christian Church. She was married to Joe Johnstone. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Larry of Lake Villa, Ill.; two grandsons; two brothers, Paul Ruby of Ottumwa and Dale Ruby of Fairfield; and three sisters, Myrtle Doyle and Esther Stoops of Fairfield, and Wilda Bradfield.

The service was held (today), Thursday, April 9, 1987 at 10 a.m. at the Stockport Christian Church, the Rev. Robert Butt officiating. Burial was in Stockport.

A memorial has been established to the Stockport Christian Church parsonage fund.
