Marjorie B. Campbell

Marjorie B. Campbell, daughter of Harry and Belle Pettit Huff, was born November 13, 1912 in Van Buren County and departed this life early the morning of Thursday, May 21, 1987 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 74.

She lived most of her life in Harrisburg Township north of Bonaparte and was a member of the Harrisburg Baptist Church. She was a farm wife and Watkins Products salesperson.

Surviving are six sons, Arthur and Earl, both of San Bernardino, California, Glen, Mt. Vernon, Washington, Dean, Bonaparte, Wayne, Chillicothe, Missouri and Wendell, Fort Madison; two daughters, Joyce Gordon, Cedar Rapids and Donna Folker, Farmington, and her step-mother, Alice Huff, Keosauqua. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and a brother, Maurice Huff, Fairfield.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 25, 1987 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harrisburg Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Newman officiating. Interment was in Vale Cemetery near the church. Memorials were established for the church and cemetery. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
