David B. Nelson

David B. Nelson, 33, formerly of Burlington, died 12:10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 1987 in Aurora, Colorado.

He died of complications from and accidental fall.

Born October 3, 1953, in Burlington, he was the son of Robert M. and Norma Brown Nelson.

He graduated from Burlington High School in 1970, and Southeastern Community College in Burlington. He lived in Burlington and Muscatine most of his life, moving to Colorado six years ago.

He attended Cochise college in Douglas, Arizona. He was with the Army for three years, beginning in 1973. He was a self-employed electronics technician.

Surviving are his father, Florida; his mother, Norma Miller, Muscatine; three brothers, Douglas Nelson, Dennis Nelson and Joel Nelson, all of Muscatine; and grandmothers, Roberta Mahon, Birmingham, and Marjorie Lucas, Wapello.

Services for Mr. Nelson were held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 1 at the Riley Funeral Home, Muscatine, with burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
