Kenneth H. Donnelly

Kenneth H. Donnelly, 82, of El Paso, Texas died july 9, 1987 in his apartment in El Paso.

born August 29, 1906 in Bonaparte, he was the son of H.G. and Cora Donnelly. He married Carribelle Perkins June 12, 1929 at Burlington.

He attended public school in Bonaparte where he graduated from high school in 1924. He attended Parsons College one year. He went into the United States Post Office Department as a mail clerk, office inspector and with the Bureau of Post Office Operations. He served in World War II retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a 50-year member of the Bonaparte Masonic Lodge.

Surviving are his wife and one brother, Aaron Donnelly of Tempe, Arizona.

The body was cremated and the ashes will be returned to the Hofbauer Funeral Home for burial in the Bonaparte Cemetery at a later date.

A memorial has been established to the Bonaparte Cemetery.
