Alden R. Moural

Alden R. Moural, son of John and Anna Rousar Moural, was born February 12, 1896 near Schuyler, Colfax County, Nebraska, and departed this life the afternoon of Monday, August 17, 1987 at Hillside Manor Care Center, Ottumwa, at the age of 91.

He married Martha M.A. Warner September 6, 1918 at Lincold(err), Nebraska. They farmed near Schuyler until moving to a farm north of Cantril in 1942. They retired to Keosauqua in 1979. Mrs. Moural died in 1981. A son, Dalton L.M. Moural and an infant grandson also preceded him in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Correnne Krepel, Columbus, Nebraska; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his parents' family.

Graveside services were held Sunday, August 23, 1987 at 2 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cantril with Reverend Andrew Rubenking officiating. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, was in charge of arrangements.
