Wilson funeral Wednesday

Opal Irene Wilson, 83, of 1204 S. Seventh, died this morning at Jefferson County Hospital.

She was born Aug. 11, 1903 in Towner, N.D., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lockhart. She married Ralph Wilson in June 1934. Mrs. Wilson was a high school teacher in the Parnell, Selma and Pleasant Plain schools. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband; a son Charles Allender, Ottumwa; and two sisters, Lois Shover, Monticello, and Hazel Rhoades, Berry, Ill.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Jensen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield. Friends may call at their convenience beginning Tuesday . . . .
