Joseph H. Robbins

Joseph H. Robbins, 60, of Middletown, died Tuesday, July 8, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Nov. 21, 1925, in Lee County, he was the son of Joseph H. and Lavena Cooley Robbins. He married Shirley Kerr Parker April 6, 1976, in Biggsville, Ill.

He was a Protestant and was a truck driver for Chanen's Inc. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Sheila Rice, rural Wever, and Lucretia Robbins, Fort Madison; two stepsons, Steve Parker and Rick Parker, both of San Diego, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Lula Parsons, Danville, Mrs. Virginia Timmerman, Route 3, Burlington, Mrs. Inez Frank, Keosauqua, Mrs. Nellie Hill and Mrs. Maxine Corman, both of Burlington; three grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.

The body has been cremated.
