Freda Opal Lucas

KAHOKA, Mo. - Freda Opal Lucas, 71, Kahoka, Mo., died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the Keokuk Area Hospital.

She was born June 9, 1915 in Clark County, Mo. On Dec. 23, 1939, she was married to Hillis F. Lucas. He preceded her in death Dec. 12, 1978.

Surviving are two sons Donald Lucas, Niota, Ill.; Billy Lucas, Kahoka; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Bonita) Clark, Revere, Mo., Mrs. Gary (Noriga) Clemenson, Farmington, and Mrs. Steve (Arveta) Freitag, Champlin, Minn.; and eight grandchildren.

Her parents were William and Minnie Shannon Harbur.

The body is at Shaffer and Sons Memorial Chapel where final rites will be at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Ronald Haas will officiate. Burial will be in Kahoka cemetery.

Friends may call Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Thursday The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday.
