Tammy Jo Ridgeway

Tammy Jo Ridgeway, daughter of Melvin and Marilyn Aylor Ridgeway, was born September 13, 1967 in Keosauqua and lost her life in an auto accident between Bloomfield and Troy early the morning of Monday September 15, 1986 while on her way to work.

She lived her life in the Troy community, graduated from Davis County High School in 1985 and attended Indian Hills Community College. Tammy was active in the Douds Saddle Club and was employed in the bakery at Keith's Super-Valu in Bloomfield.

Surviving are her parents of Bloomfield; a brother, Jery Ridgeway of Troy; three sisters, Julie Grim, Troy, Sandy Cronk, Cantril and Nancy Sayre, Keosauqua; grandparents Hazel Ridgeway and Dick and Fern Aylor, all of Keosauqua.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 17, 1986 at 10 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Interment was in Pittsburg Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the funeral home.
