Barbara Kunzman Funk

Barbara Kunzman Funk, 31, died Aug. 18, 1986 at the St. Luke's Hospital in Cedars Rapids of Cystic Fibrois(Fibrosis).

She was born June 12, 1955 in Ottumwa to George and Eileen Kunzman. On June 10, 1978 she married Duane Funk in Douds.

She was a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids and Veteran's Hospital in Iowa City.

She was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church and the Douds American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband Duane, a daughter Kara Funk of Cedar Rapids a step-daughter Lanae Funk of Cedar Rapids, parents George and Eileen Kunzman of Douds, and a brother George Kunzman Jr. of Coralville. Services were held Thursday, August 21 at the Edgewood Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Larson officiating.

Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Douds. Turner West Chapel is in charge of services. Contributions can be made to the Iowa Chapter of Cystic Fibrois(Fibrosis), 1149-66th St., Des Moines 50309.
