Vada Bottorff

HEDRICK - Vada Bottorff, 70, of Waterloo and formerly of Hedrick area died Sept. 15, 1986, at Schoitz Hospital in Waterloo.

She was born June 27, 1916 in Van Buren County to Robert and Mary Lyons Moore. She married Carl Bottorff on Sept. 25, 1934, in Davenport. He died in 1967. She was employed by Charter Computer Services in Des Moines, retiring in 1981.

She is survived by a son James of Royal Oak, Mich.; four grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Slutts of Waterloo.

The service will be at 1 p.m. today at O'Keefe, Carter and Waychoff Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Graveside services and burial will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Boone Cemetery in Hedrick.

A memorial has been established to Faith Baptist Church in Keosauqua.
