Mildred Coltrane

Mildred B. Coltrane, 89, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 1986 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born Jan. 1, 1897, in Van Buren County, the daughter of John L. and Amanda E. Frazer Coltrane. She lived most of her life in Jefferson County. She had worked in the dietary department of Jefferson County Hospital.

Coltrane was a member of Fairfield Friends Church. She is survived by a brother, B.P. (Paul) Coltrane of Independence, Mo., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 5, 1986 at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Hall officiating. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery northeast of Stockport.
