Ethel L. Moore

Ethel Louise Moore, 71, of West Burlington, died in Burlington Medical Center Friday, May 9, 1986.

She was born at Cantril Nov. 1, 1914, to Abial J. and Grace Arnold Wells. She married Herbert C. Moore April 18, 1937, at Birmingham.

Mrs. Moore taught school for 20 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, the King's Daughters, the DAR, and the OES.

She is survived by her husband; a son Richard, Omaha, Neb.; a daughter Rosalie Bogle, San Diego, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Andrew Pate officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery in Cantril.

A memorial has been established for First Christian Church at the Lunning Chapel in Burlington.
