HOMER MILLER
Homer Miller, lifelong resident of the Douds community, died at 8:25 p.m. Friday at Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua after an illness of two months.
Last rites were Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds with the Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating. Burial was in the Leando Cemetery.
Charles Homer Miller was born December 10, 1906, on the same farm where he spent his entire life. He was the son of Clyde and Mary Kunzman Miller who preceded him in death.
Miller was a member of Celestial Lodge No. 413, AF and AM and Twin City Chapter No. 258 OES at Douds.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, two sons and seven grandchildren.
Memorials to the Cancer Fund may be left at the Pedrick Funeral Home.
