Clara Hoaglin

Mrs. Clara Hoaglin, 79, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Hillsboro, died at 6:35 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Burlington Medical Center.

She was born May 31, 1906, at Wathena, Kan., to George and Sadie Dingman Meugnoit. In 1942, at Hillsboro, she married Mark Hoaglin; he died in 1967.

She was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Surviving is one brother, Harry Meugnoit, Lakeview.

A memorial service for Mrs. Hoaglin will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hillsboro Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Newman officiating. The body has been deeded to science.

A memorial to the Hillsboro Baptist Church has been established at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
