JOEL CARRICO

Joel W. Carrico, 30, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19 in the emergency room of Van Buren County Memorial Hospital. He had been ill several years with kidney disease.

He was born November 20, 1954 to Wayne and Donna Snyder Carrico, Stockport. He married Carolyn Jarvis May 5 1980 at Troy.

He graduated from Van Buren High School in 1973 and was employed at Barker Products Co., Keosauqua.

He was a member of the Stockport volunteer fire department.

Surviving: His wife; four sons, Jason, Joey, Sean and Timothy, all at home; his parents, Stockport; three sisters, Doneen Coffin, Stockport, Joan Turner, Fairfield, and Darla Smeltser, Burlington; and a grandfather, Ora Carrico, Garden Grove.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 1985 at the Stockport Christian Church with Rev. Robert Butt officiating. The body will be cremated. A memorial has been established to the Kidney Foundation. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua is in charge of arrangements.
