Wanda Love

Wanda Shelledy Love, 65, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Burlington, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.

Born Nov. 22, 1920, at Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Jesse and Elsie Calhoun Kirk. On Oct. 9, 1937, at Burlington, she married Dale Shelledy; he died June 28, 1986.

Surviving are five sons, Mike Shelledy, Olds; Carey Shelledy, Kirk Shelledy, and Thomas Shelledy, all of Wheatland, Wyo., and Kevin Shelledy, Muscatine; two brothers, Frank Kirk, Mount Pleasant, and Jack Kirk, Elk, Wash.; two sisters, Velma Kirk, Mount Pleasant; and Helen Giberson, Keosauqua; and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may call as they desire at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday to sign the register at the Beatty-Hass Funeral Home, Burlington.

Services for Mrs. Love will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Glen Richard officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.

A memorial has been established.
