John Weiher

John F. Weiher, 85, of Quincy, Ill., died at 8:12 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1, at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.

He was born Nov. 22, 1900, in Farmington, the son of John and Maggie White Weiher.

He retired from Keokuk Dryden Rubber in 1965 after 15 years, where he was a millworker. He was of the Protestant faith and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include sister Mrs. Cena Boltz of Keokuk and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the ??uker and Haugh Funeral Home in Quincy with the Rev. William S. Warford officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery.
