ROBERT MOOTHART
Robert Moothart, 61, Hillsboro, died in Henry County Health Center Saturday, July 6.
He was born at Wellman, December 31, 1923, to Guy and Marguerite Fleming Moothart. He served in the Army in World War II. He married Ethel England, December 26, 1942 at Kahoka, Missouri.
Mr. Moothart formerly operated the Moothart service station at Hillsboro and had been employed by Jet Gas Co., Houghton. He was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving: His wife; a daughter, Barbara Miller, Tulsa, Oklahoma; a brother, Irwin Moothart, New Sharon; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Elder Amil Miller and Elder Daniel Spray officiating. Burial was in Wellman Cemetery. An American Heart Association memorial has been established.
