ETHEL DRESSER

Mrs. Ethel Dresser, 85, longtime Donnellson area resident, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in the Bloomfield Care Center.

Mrs. Dresser was born October 28, 1899 in Henry County.

On May 10, 1938, in Keosauqua, she was married to Roy W. Dresser, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by three brothers, Russell Jannings of Newbern, Tennessee, Rex Jannings of Fort Madison and Waldo Jannings of Bloomfield.

Areletta Marsh of Farmington is a niece.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister. Her parents were Walter B. and Nellie Harper Jannings.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson. The Rev. Donald Strickler officiated. Burial was in Embury cemetery near Donnellson.

A memorial was established with the Embury church. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson.
