MRS. DARLENE BOSTOCK

Mrs. Darlene Faye Bostock, 55, of Georgetown, Texas, a former Fort Madison resident, died Thursday, July 11, 1985 in Breckenridge Hospital, Austin, Texas. Mrs. Bostock had been injured in a motorcycle accident seven weeks ago.

She was born February 28, 1930 in LaHarpe, Illinois. She had lived in Fort Madison for 15 years and in Georgetown the past 12 years.

On February 29, 1952, at Fort Madison, she was married to Charles Bostock, who survives.

Also surviving are six sons, Michael Bostock of Nebraska, Mike, Rick Clayton, Craig and Robert Calhoun, all of Bryan, Texas; her parents, John Earl and Jessie Mowbry Scanlan of Carthage; four brothers, Dale Scanlan of Memphis, Missouri, Richard Scanlan of Carthage, Jerry Scanlan of Keokuk and Harry Scanlan of fort Madison; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Joan) Henson of Missouri and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 16, 1985 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial was in Vernon cemetery near Keosauqua.

Barr Memorial Chapel was in charge of services.
