SCOTT WILSON

Scott Wilson, 87, of Bonaparte, died at 5 a.m. Sunday, June 23, 1985 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

He was born July 31, 1897, in Industry, Illinois to Welcome (Wilcome) and Sarah Garrison Wilson. He married Gertrude M. Henry, December 24, 1920 at Bonaparte.

He was a former employee of the Glove Factory at Bonaparte and was a member of the Bonaparte Methodist Church and Masons.

Surviving: His wife; two sons, Glen W., Mason City and Richard L., Leon; one daughter, Mrs. Lorene Chapman, Bonaparte; three brothers, Carl, Donnellson, Lester, Carrolton, Texas and Merle, Bonaparte; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday June 25, 1985 at Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington with Rev. James Rozendaal officiating. Interment was in Bonaparte Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
