GRANVILLE W. WINKLER

Granville W. Winkler died Sunday evening, September 15, 1985 at the age of 72 at his home in East Wenatchee, Washington.

Granville was born November 28, 1912 in Bentonsport, iowa to Fred and Rosanna Owings Winkler. He married Zula Davis in Bonaparte on July 27, 1933 and they made their home in Everett, Washington.

Granville worked for Bumstead-Wollford Company as a boilermaker and supervisor until 1975 when he retired. In 1981 Granville and Zula moved to East Wenatchee.

Granville was a member of Moose Lodge #1925 of Quincy, Washington.

Survivors include his wife Zula; daughter, Mrs. Ervin (Donna) McCracken, Bonaparte son, Fred (Bud) Winkler of Bonaparte; eight grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Granville was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.

Graveside services were held in Everett, Washington on September 19, 1985.
