Bernice Myers

BATAVIA - died at 5 a.m. Oct. 14, 1985, at her home.

She was born Oct. 11, 1903, in Jefferson County to Nelson and Ada Turnbull McCleary. She married C.E. "Tom" Myers on Jan. 22, 1927, in Ottumwa.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Keith of Keosauqua and Kenneth of Ottumwa; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Verle Anderson of Des Moines.

A son, Charles Raymond, died June 16, 1934.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, the Rev. Kermit Black officiating.

Burial will be in Fairfield's Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials may be amde to the cancer fund.

Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
