KEOSAUQUA - Mrs. Linda K. Wells, 39-year-old Keosauqua native, died of cancer Monday, July 22, in Jasper Memorial Hospital, Jasper, Ind.

She was born Dec. 27, 1945, to Keith and Hazel Chaney Wolf. She graduated from Harmony High School, Farmington, and the former Burlington Business College. She married Gary Wells Nov. 21, 1964, at Bonaparte.

Mrs. Wells lived at Fairfield and near Carthage, Ill., before settling in Jasper six years ago.

She was an employee of Kimball International, the piano and organ manufacturer, at Jasper. She was a member of Central Christian Church of Huntingburg, Ind.

Surviving: Her husband; a son, Michael at home; a daughter, Peggy Connerley, Mitchell, Ind.; her mother, Keosauqua rural; two brothers, John and Robert Wolf, both of Keosauqua rural; and one grandson.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church, after which the body will be brought to Pedrick Funeral Home to lie in state from noon until 2 p.m. Friday. Committal will be conducted by the Rev. Donald Morrison in Miller Chapel Cemetery at 2:30. A memorial to Central Christian Church has been established.
