MILDRED L. MILLER

Mildred L. Miller, daughter of Curtis A. and Cora Jamison Miller, was born October 21, 1900 near Keosauqua and departed this life the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 1985 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 84.

She graduated from Keosauqua High School and Iowa Success Business College in Ottumwa. She worked in the Van Buren County Farm Bureau office and for many years in the Van Buren County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office. Except for a few years in Milton, her life was spent in the Keosauqua community.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Delphian Study Club and a neighborhood book club.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 7, 1985 at 11 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua with Rev. Don Morrison of the Keosauqua United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Keosauqua. A memorial was established for the Keosauqua Public Library.
