Alma Bruggemeyer

FAIRFIELD - Alma Bee Bruggemeyer, 94, of 3228 Connecticut St. in Joplin, Mo., died at 1:40 p.m. March 17, 1985, at the Elmhurst Nursing Home in Webb City, Mo.

She was born June 12, 1890, in Rome, Iowa, to Jack and Ollie Churchill Huddleston. She married Frank Bruggemeyer on Dec. 10, 1919, in Fairfield. He died March 22, 1966. The two owned a lime company in Stockport and later lived in the Stockport Nursing Home. She had lived in Joplin since 1954, where she was a homemaker and a member of the Park Plaza Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Frances Radtke of Joplin; and two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Jr.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. Mark Weston officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the youth program of her church.
