George Lotridge

CENTERVILLE - George D. "Mike" Lotridge, 85, of Centerville died Feb. 7, 1985, in Venice, Fla.

He was born May 13, 1899, at Mystic, to George and Anna Mae Stevens Lotridge. He married Ethel ATkinson on April 4, 1925, at Keosauqua. He and his wife had been making their winter home in Florida for the past 21 years. He retired from the Morton Salt Co. in 1961, having worked for them for 35 years. He was a 50-year Mason. He was a member of the Centerville Shrine Club and the zoo unit of the Centervill Shrine Club.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Alice Dunley of Nokomis, Fla.; a son Bill of Independence, Mo.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Lottie Zimmerman of Lawrence, Kan.

The Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at Duley Funeral Home. The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Duley Funeral Home, John Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital.
