BEE WOLFE

Bee Wolfe, a former Bonaparte resident, passed away Monday morning, February 11 at 11:45 at Ft. Madison Community Hospital.

A private commital service will be held Saturday Morning, February 16 at Center Chapel Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Bee Wolfe

MT. PLEASANT - Mrs. Samuel (Bee) Wolfe, 98, a patient at the Donnellson Manor Care Center and former Mt. Pleasant resident, died Monday, Feb. 11, at Ft. Madison Community Hospital.

She was born Feb. 7, 1887, near Keosauqua in Van Buren County, to Waitman and Eliza Beer Robinson. She married Samuel M. Wolfe on Nov. 23, 1904, in Van Buren County; he died March 23, 1954.

She and her husband moved from their farm at Vernon Prairie to Bonaparte in 1941. She was assistant postmaster for 16 years before retiring.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, past matron of Magnolia Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, and Mt. Pleasant White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a member of the Founders Chapter of the TTT and the Women's Society of Christian Service.

Surviving: A son, Donald E., Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter, great-grandson and great-great-grandson.

Committal services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Center Chapel Cemetery, Keosauqua, the Rev. Louise Spears. Memorial services will be announced later by the Weir Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant.
