Ida Payne

FAIRFIELD - Ida j. Payne, 90, of Fairfield died at 10 a.m. Feb. 2, 1985, at the Parkview Care Center.

She was born June 28, 1894, in Glendale, to Charles and Christine Hanson Bloomquist. She married Jessie V. Payne on Nov. 3, 1915. He died Oct. 23, 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary VFW auxiliary. She was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County.

She is survived by three sons, Walter and Charles of Fairfield and Lloyd of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren; five brothers, Jess Bloomquist of Ottumwa, Carl and Bert Bloomquist of Fairfield, John Bloomquist of Birmingham and Bob of New York; and two sisters, TEckla Wells and Eva Spears of Agency.

The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Pattison Cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

Friends may call at their convenience.

A memorial has been established to her church or to the Parkview Care Center.

Ida J. Payne

Ida J. Payne, 90, of Fairfield, died on Feb. 2, 1985 at Parkview Care Center. She was the sister of John Bloomquist of Birmingham, Jess Bloomquist of Ottumwa, Carl and Bert Bloomquist of Fairfield and bob of New York, Teckla Wells and Eva Spears of Agency, who survive. Also surviving are three sons, Walter and Charles of Fairfield, and Lloyd of Colorado Springs, Colo., five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1985 at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial was in Pattison Cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

Memorials were established to her church and to the Parkview Care Center.
