Laura McClurg

FAIRFIELD - Laura McClurg, 75, of 1002 E. Adams died at 1:25 a.m. Monday May 14, 1985, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

She was born April 10, 1910, in Fairfield to Dr. Edwin and Clara Gregg Bock. She married Dr. Frank Haven McClurg on July 9, 1936, at the home of her parents in Fairfield. A Parsons College graduate, she was the office receptionists for her husband for 40 years. A member of the First United Presbyterian Church, she also belonged to Chapter MB of PEO and was a charter member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She lived her entire life in Fairfield.

She is survived by her husband and several cousins.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the First United Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Carl Riggs officiating. Burial will be in Purdom Cemetery.

Visitation will be after noon today at the Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to her church or the heart fund.
