Anna Heaton

HILLSBORO - A funeral for Anna Heaton, 96, of Hillsboro, who died at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 18 in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital at Keosauqua, is 10 a.m. Friday in Sharon Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Kenneth Harden and James Rozendaal officiating.

Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson.

She was born March 4, 1887 at Big Mound in Van Buren County, daughter of Aaron and Sophia Marie Heuckmann Heaton.

She lived on the same farm her entire life. She was a member of the former Big Mound Christian Church and the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Survivors include her sister, Alice Huff of Keosauqua.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
