ROGER VERN HESTON

Roger Vern Heston, 67, rural Birmingham, died at noon on Saturday, December 22, 1984 at the Keokuk Convalescent Center in Keokuk.

He was born May 19, 1917 at Libertyville, Iowa, the son of Floyd E. and Julian Bartz Heston and spent most of his life in Van Buren County.

He served in the Air Force in World War II.

Mr. Heston is survived by two half brothers, Jack Heston of Gulfport, Mississippi and Charles Heston of Stockport; and one half sister, Julia Anderson of Stockport.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services were held on Monday, December 24, 1984 at 2 p.m. at Fell Cemetery at Libertyville with Rev. Richard Devore officiating. Military rites at grave were by the Stockport American Legion Post #147.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Burch Funeral Home, Birmingham, was in charge of arrangements.
