Bernice H. Regur

KEOSAUQUA - Bernice H. Regur, 82, of Keosauqua, died at 10:15 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 1984, at Bloomfield Care Center, Bloomfield.

She was born Aug. 19, 1902, near Mt. Sterling, to James and Meribah Parsons Hervey. She married Joe N. Regur July 14, 1942, in Keosauqua. He preceeded her in death.

Her life was spent in the Mt. Sterling and Keosauqua communities until she entered the care center in 1982. She was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving: Three stepsons, Don, Florida, Dan, Wisconsin, and Gene, Gulfport, Ill.; two sisters, Opal Sparks, Keosauqua, and Creola Beggs, Cantril; and one brother Dean, Cantril.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, the Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating; Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua.

Bernice H. Regur, 82, of Keosauqua died Monday night at the Bloomfield Care Center. She was the widow of the late Joe Regur, longtime barber in Keosauqua. Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with Rev. Gerald Caughron officiating with burial in Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua.
