MAURICE D. STAGERS

Funeral services were held Thursday, November 29, 1984 at the Cosby Funeral Home in Reno for Maurice D. Stagers, who died Monday, November 26, 1984 in a Reno hospital.

A native of Douds, he was born December 19, 1934 and had lived in Reno for the past 11 years.

He was a clerk for the United States Postal Service and was a member of VFW Post 407 and The Post Workers Union. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in the Korean conflict and Vietnam.

Surviving are his widow Barbara Jo and a son, David, both of Sparks; father Beryl Stagers of Douds, mother Hazel Kinzie of Hedrick; and a sister, Betty Topping of Birmingham.

Burial was at Mountain View Cemetery.
