EDNA G. HOLS

Edna G. Hols, 89, Farmington, died Wednesday, July 25, 1984 at 12:45 a.m. in the Donnellson Manor Care Center, Donnellson.

Born September 10, 1894 in rural Farmington, Lee County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Minnie Kelly Grimm.

She married Jake Hols who preceded her in death.

She spent most of her life in Farmington and was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are one son, William Hols, Farmington; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Jeanette) Shriver of Donnellson; one brother, Harley Grimm of Davenport; two sisters, Hazel Rohdy and Ollie Apeland, both of Donnellson; two half-sisters, Charlotte Cotta, Sun City West, Arizona and Betty Grimm of Moose Lake, Minnesota; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one grandson and one brother.

The funeral was held Friday, July 27, 1984 at 10 a.m. in the Farmington Baptist Church. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery. A memorial was established for the Baptist Church. The Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
