MRS. BLOSSOM KENNEDY

Mrs. Blossom Kennedy, 90, of Donnellson, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 1984 in the Donnellson Manor Care Center.

Mrs. Kennedy was born July 1, 1893, in Princeville, Illinois. She had been a Donnellson resident for 60 years and was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church.

On March 28, 1916, at Galesburg, Illinois she was married to James B. Kennedy, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Gerald J. of Donnellson; three daughters, Mrs. Arlo (Maxine) Roth of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Donald (Lois) Kelly of Farmington and Mrs. Donald (Norma) Zurborg of Davenport and 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, a sister and two grandchildren. Her parents were Joseph and Margaret Ayling Geitner.

Funeral services were held the Sharon Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial was in Sharon cemetery.

A memorial was established with the Sharon Presbyterian Church. Contributions may be made at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson.
