Beulah Pence Clark

Mrs. Beulah Pence Clark, 91, died at the Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua on Tuesday, June 26, 1984.

A long time resident of Bonaparte, she had lived in the Good Samaritan Home in Keosauqua for two years.

She was born on June 24, 1893, at Elkhart, to William and Jane Reese Burns. She married Harry Pence on Aug. 29, 1912; he died in July of 1957. She married Arthur Clark in 1962; he died in 1973.

Mrs. Clark was a member of the Bonaparte Baptists Church.

Surviving are two sons, Alfred Pence of rural Keosauqua, and Floyd Pence of Burlington; two daughters, Maxine Hogue of Geneseo, Ill., and Alvena Prattt(err) of Keosauqua; six granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 29, at Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington, with Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial was in the Bonaparte cemetery.
