Dorothy Reinier

Mrs. Dorothy Reinier, 66, died of natural causes at her home at Hillsboro at 10:05 p.m. Monday, May 7, 1984.

She was born at Ollie Nov. 11, 1918, to Otis and Alma Carter Ruggles. She married Harry Reinier Dec. 9, 1936, at Leon.

The couple lived at Ollie until 1945, moving to Hillsboro. Mrs. Reinier was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church.

Surviving are four sons, Frank, El Rose, Saskatchewan, Canada, Ernest, San Jose, Calif., Roger, Andalusia, Ill., and Harry (Bob), Hillsboro; two daughters, Ruth Messer, Davenport, and Treeanon Davis, Hillsboro; four sisters, Belle Oley, Anderson, Calif., Marie Ellis, Martinsburg, Edith Daly, Ottumwa, and Irma Pelcher, Delta; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 10, at the Hillsboro Christian Church, the Rev. David Challen; Hillsboro Cemetery. A memorial to the Hillsboro Christian Church has been established at the Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
