Donald Doud

Donald D. Doud, 69, of River Hills Care Center died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 1984, in St. Joseph Hospital.

He was born Oct. 28, 1915, in Ottumwa to Samuel Clell and Juanita LaRue Douds. He grew up in Douds and graduated from Douds High School. He was a retired machinist and spent most of his life in Peoria, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, and two sons, Richard and Jerry.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. C.N. Schrodt of Roseville, Ill.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild, all in Peoria, and two brothers, Paul of Springfield, Ill., and Carl of Ottumwa.

The service was at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1984 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, the Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Burial was in Mount Moriah Cemetery north of Douds.
