FERN RUNYON

Mrs. Fern Runyon, 77, Hillsboro, died Saturday, February 11, 1984 at Van Buren County Hospital, Keosauqua.

She was born to William and Una Walker Phillips October 13, 1906, in Van Buren County, where she married Rex Runyon on October 1, 1925; he died April 15, 1973.

Surviving: two sons, Billy and Milo, both of Hillsboro; daughter Ardyth Newman, Burlington; three brothers, Leo Phillips, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Clem Phillips, Pine, Colorado, and Rex Phillips, Douds; sister Verlee Lane, Stockport; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 14, 1984 at the Baptist Church with Rev. E. Newman officiating. Burial was in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Beatty Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant was in charge of arrangements.
