Eula Riley

Eula Riley was born on Nov. 3, 1909, and died on Jan. 20, 1984 at Orange, Calif.

She taught fourth grade in Keosauqua during the 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's and in the Orange County School System upon moving there on May 28, 1984, until her retirement.

Her husband, Thomas E. Riley, was assistant county engineer in Van Buren County for many years. He passed away on Nov. 1, 1963, and was buried in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Eula is survived by one daughter, Mari Auma and husband, four grandchildren, one great grandson and done sister.

Her remains were cremated with burial in the family lot at Iola, Kan.

Memorials may be made to the Van Buren School.
