Paul E. Scotton

Paul Edward Scotton, son of John Walter and Letha Cole Scotton, was born March 23, 1913 in Davis County, Iowa and died early Sunday, March 11, 1984 at his home in Farmington at the age of 70.

As a young man he was in the Civilian Conservation Corps Camp in Keosauqua. He worked a number of years in a rubber plant in Indiana prior to retiring to Farmington.

He was single.

Remaining are seven sisters, Tilla Long, Marty Barker, Mary Bell, and Lois Starnes, all of Keosauqua; Norma Ward, Farmington; Verna Robinson, Aurora, Colo., and Doris Snell, Wenden, Ariz., nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. His parents and two sisters, Alvastine Canaday and Hope Anderson preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, 1984 at 10:30 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, with Rev. Louise Spears officiating. Interment was in Pittsburg Cemetery. A memorial was established for the Farmington.
