Katherine M. Swan

Services for Katherine M. Swan were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, at Warren United Methodist Church, Denver, Colorado.

Swan, 79, died on Feb. 16, 1984, at St. Luke's Hospital in Denver.

She was born on Feb. 26, 1914, in Milton. She was graduated from high school in Lincoln, Nebr., and attended the University of Nebraska. She was married to Dr. Lowell B. Swan, former president of the Iliff School of Theology, on June 1, 1936, and moved to Denver shortly after her marriage. Dr. Swan died in January 1969.

She was a member of P.E.O., Eastern Star and was on the board of trustees for Warren Village.

She is survived by a son, David L., Denver; three daughters, Mary Katherine Hodge, Yakota AFB, Japan, Martha Ann Dohm, Sacramento, Calif., and Nancy Jane Stephens, Denver; a brother, a sister, and nine grandchildren
