Dee L. Dodds

Dee L. Dodds, 76, died early Thursday morning, July 14. Dee was the son of Lute and Rose Johnston Dodds. He was born Aug. 19, 1906, at Utica, Iowa. He attended High School at Stockport where he graduated with the class of '25. He lived in Washington, D.C. for many years where he served as a policeman. On retiring he and his wife Rose moved to Liesburg, Va. They are the parents of one son David who lives near by.

Dee has been ill for several years.

He is survived by his wife and son David and family, one brother, Harve Dodds, who lived on the old homestead, three sisters, Lura and Fanchon of Aurora, Ill., Erma of California and several nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two who died in infancy and Malcolm and Lex Dodds, and two sisters, Selma, and Kathryn Calhoun, his sister Fanchon of Aurora was able to attended the funeral services.
